1. INITIAL CONSULTATION
Like any relationship, it all starts with a first date to make sure the sparks fly! I will ask you some questions regarding your business, vision and goals for your brand and web design, as well as allowing you to ask any questions for me. This step will give us both a chance to get to know one another and make sure we are a good fit.
We’ll review your project scope as well as a timeline and pricing so that we can make sure everyone’s on the same page. Once we’ve agreed to work together – your project is placed in my queue.
2. WHAT’S YOUR STYLE – HOMEWORK
Since there is typically a wait time between this step and the next, I give you homework to prepare for our upcoming project.
I’ll send you a questionnaire to complete that will help me figure out the brand style you’re seeking. We’ll review typography, colors, and imagery that you feel is in line with your ideal brand aesthetic. This questionnaire will provide valuable information for me as I move throughout your brand process. I also ask you to create a detailed pinterest board, full of branding inspiration (it can be anything from colors, to patterns, outfits, interiors, etc.)
3. MOODBOARD INSPIRATION
This is where the party starts! I’ll review your branding questionnaire, along with and your color palette and inspiration board. The more info submitted to me, the better to make sure I am heading in the right direction.
Creating a mood board is all about merging together the perfect mixture of aesthetics for your brand. You will receive a Launch Deck which includes a brand overview and mood board. Once this is approved by you, we begin the design process.
4. LOGO CONCEPTS
My FAVORITE part – your design mockups! Please allow, 4-5 business days once your mood board is finalized for me to send over your initial logo designs. From here you’ll choose the winner. Depending on your package, 2-3 revisions are included.
5. BRAND GUIDE
Once we’ve finalized your main logo, I’ll create your brand guide, which will be your go-to on how to implement your brand digitally and in print materials. I will start prepping the final files. I will send over a convenient dropbox link of all of your zipped up logo files.
6. ADDITIONAL DESIGNS + ADD ONS
If you’re doing a website, branding suite, or other designs with me as well (and you totally should), this is the point I now take your new brand and continue it throughout your print and social page design (business card, business letterhead/notecard, stamp or stickers, facebook and twitter page designs) to complete your seamless new look. You’ll have one round of revisions included, anything beyond will be billed at a standard hourly rate of $60/hour.
7. POP THE BUBBLY
Release your amazing new brand into the world. I’ll also publish it on my blog and various social media sites as well to help drive traffic, and hopefully referrals, to your site!
